EC Stewart Shows Her Metal with the Introduction of Sterling Silver Jewelry
Marks first time that nationally recognized artist unveils jewelry
February 6, 2007 – Raleigh, North Carolina – Responding to overwhelming demand from her enthusiasts, nationally recognized artist and illustrator Elizabeth C. (Lisa) Stewart introduces her first line of Sterling silver jewelry featuring her signature illustration Bacchus and the Ball of Yarn. Sold either separately or as a set, the earrings and pendant necklace are made of solid sterling silver with the illustration highlighted against a black background. The pendant necklace is strung with leather cord, backed by a complimentary piece of exotic hardwood and finished with sterling silver hardware.
“People love Bacchus and over the past several years they have increasingly urged me to create a version of him that they could take with them wherever they go,” Said Ms. Stewart. “After initially struggling with how to respond, I settled on these jewelry designs and am delighted to be introducing them as my first offerings.”

About the Artist
Based in Raleigh, NC, Elizabeth (Lisa) Stewart is an award-winning designer and illustrator with nearly two decades of experience creating artwork based on nature, animals and the world around her. In addition to her work on CalligraphyPets, Ms. Stewart is also CEO and Creative Goddess of EC Stewart Designs, Inc., a multifaceted design and marketing company. Ms. Stewart lives in Raleigh with her husband and their four cats.
