December 18, 2006 | Raleigh, North Carolina – EC Stewart Designs, Inc. Nationally recognized artist and illustrator Elizabeth C. (Lisa) Stewart introduces her first line of home décor soft-goods beginning with diecut pillows in leather and fabric. Initially featuring Ms. Stewart’s signature calligraphic illustration, Bacchus and the Ball of Yarn, this line brings a new level of sophistication and elegance into the home. Using luxury materials such as leather suede, microfiber, wool felt and silk, these pillows epitomize today’s consumer’ desire for sophisticated simplicity in home accents. Every pillow is hand sewn, assembled in the United States and available in both 12” x 16” and 16” x 16” sizes.

About the Artist
Based in Raleigh, NC, Elizabeth (Lisa) Stewart is an award-winning designer and illustrator with nearly two decades of experience creating artwork based on nature, animals and the world around her. In addition to her work on CalligraphyPets, Ms. Stewart is also CEO and Creative Goddess of EC Stewart Designs, Inc., a multifaceted design and marketing company. Ms. Stewart lives in Raleigh with her husband and their four cats.
